Salt Lake Chapter
     
The Institute of Management Accountants (IMA) is the leading professional organization devoted exclusively to Management Accounting and Financial Management.

As set forth in its mission and vision statements, IMA goals are to help members develop both personally and professionally, by means of education, certification, and association with other business professionals.

The Salt Lake Area Chapter currently holds lunch meetings each month at the Lion House in downtown Salt Lake City.  Held on the third Tuesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., each meeting includes lunch and a professional seminar earning one hour of CPE credit.  The Lion House is at 63 South Temple across from the ZCMI Center just West of State Street.

      The IMA student chapter at Westminster College received their Charter at the January 2003 Salt Lake Chapter monthly meeting.

Speaker topics should be related to the practice of Management Accounting, and we ask speakers to make a 55-60 minute presentation to qualify attendees for one hour of CPE credit.
